Basic pricing structure

Every shoot is different and very much depends on the details or you specific project, but just to get you in the ballpark, here’s a pricing structure:

White Background Hero Image: $150/image

This is the main image you’ll find in the search results of an Amazon listing.

Secondary angles/detail image: $65/image

All the rest of the basic white background product shots needed to showcase the product’s angles and features.

Lifestyle: $350+/image

This may be a product in use, in its intended setting to help the consumer visualize its potential, ideal usage, or secondary usage and benefits.

It can also be something more conceptual, like a cool way of displaying the products with attractive propping and setting to help with branding and positioning.

Can the prices be lower/higher than listed here?

I’m so glad you asked! Absolutely yes to both higher and lower.

Here are some examples of how the prices get lower. Say you have multiple similar products/SKUs - like a few dozen pairs of shoes, wine bottle, cell phone cases, kitchen utensils…
Once we get the lighting and composition for the 1st shoe/bottle/case/spatula, the rest are just - drop the next color/option/product in, and click the camera...

We can then give much better quantity pricing on projects like these.

There have been some shoots that have been as little as $10/shot (So you understand - it was 400+ cookies that were very similar to each other).

Same goes for the lifestyle images. If we can reuse the same set & styling for multiple versions of your product, the pricing per shot can come way down.

Do you offer a flat day rate?

Yes, but typically only for styled shoots. Never for white background shots.

Do you charge for Post Processing/Photoshop?

Basic retouching & silhouetting is included in the price. If there is anything more heavy duty, such as photoshopping in (or out) items or backgrounds, that would be extra and would depend on the job.

Any fee for sending the final images in multiple formats?

Usually not. We typically deliver in PNG or JPG, but if you need TIFFs or PSD etc, just give us the word and it’s yours.
